Re: Disabling UAC for Dexpot
Exactly as you say, thanks very much. Problem solved. Not only do you guys make the best piece of software on my computer, your support of it is the best too, and you do it in two languages. Dexpot's features are all so well thought out, I don't know why anybody would use anything else. And it's fre...

Re: Disabling UAC for Dexpot
It doesn't matter if the Dexpot option "Run As Administrator" is checked or not, UAC still asks for permission. The program location is "D:\Program Files (x86)\Dexpot\dexpot.exe". However, if I don't check Run As Administrator, it doesn't start automatically when Windows is boote...

Disabling UAC for Dexpot
I am using Windows 7, 64 bit and Dexpot 1.6.0 Build 2106-RC. Since the recent update, whenever I restart Dexpot or switch profiles, UAC asks me to authorize Dexpot. It did not do this before. However, I don't see a UAC screen when Dexpot starts on boot. I have tried: - Reinstalling - Changing the st...

What is "DexControl" and how do you get into public beta?
I saw something on Facebook about "DexControl". It said something about there being just a few more days until it's ready for public beta testing. I'd love to be a part of that. How can I participate?

Disable Dexpot hotkeys in a specific application?
Is it possible to disable Dexpot hotkeys for a specific application? I often use Emacs as a text editor and a many of the commands I use there conflict with hotkeys I want to use in most other circumstances.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Wallpaper Clock - Time stops
About once a day, the Wallpaper Clock loses all settings including which folder I said holds my ".wcz" files. Not surprisingly, it stops keeping time and the wallpaper image remains static. However, when I look at Task Manager, I see that the Wallpaper Clock.exe *32 is still running. At ti...

Hi guys. I love your product. It's the best part of my new computer and it's free. I tell everybody to get it. I'm planning on sending you some money soon. ------------------------------------------ 1. My environment: - Windows 7 I've got a lot of other things running always, including: - Drivers fo...

Wallpaper Clock - Where should the ".wcz" files be stored?
Where is the best place to store the ".wcz" files used for Wallpaper Clock? Where does it look "naturally"? Right now, I've got Dexclock also installed on my computer, but it's not really installed. It is registered to open ".wcz" files. When it does that, it installs t...

Re: Hotkey profile switch / Load ".dxp" file on double-click
That's working great, thanks. I've got scripts that load both my Dexpot and Ultramon profiles together and made hotkeys for those scripts. Wonderful! Today I was poking around and was surprised to see that load profile was not listed in the FAQ entry on Dexpot command line parameters ( http://dexpot...

Hotkey profile switch / Load ".dxp" file on double-click
I use both Depot and Ultramon and love both to death. I recommend them to everybody I meet, but you most of all. With Ultramon, I use a pair of hotkeys, one to select my PC monitors and one to select my TV. Unfortunately, because my screen sizes are different, my desktop icons move. I've also got tw...
