keeping the same desktop

Hi there

I recently installed Dexpot on Win7 and use it esp. for the Exposé function. However, Dexpot messes in a few ways with the desktops (even if I find having a few desktops available very useful).
Is there a way to "synchronize" the desktops so that only the "window layer" changes from one desktop to another? (e.g. shortcuts, files, etc. on both desktops at the same time)
Additionnally, Dexpot deactivates the "Aligh icons to grid" from the Win desktop menu and doesn't really do anything to align them when the Dexpot menu is ticked on...

Any thoughts on that?

If you want Dexpot to only switch application windows, go to "Settings > Switching Desktops > Desktop elements" and disable all the customization options, "Customize desktop icons" in particular.
