Hi, :dex:

I've attached a rule that works reliably for me. You can load the rule from the file using the Import rules command in Desktop Rules. Due to a 64 bit bug, you'll have to restart Dexpot afterward for the rule to be applied to new windows automatically.

thx for reply. (^__^)

The window I want to use is My Coputer , or in general , explorer.exe. All windows that open with the explorer.exe.

Here is a screen shot of the rules I tried... (.__.!)

Thank You In advance

that's to be expected. Once you close the window, it's gone. When you "reopen" it, you actually get a different window, and to automatically apply transparency to new windows you indeed need a rule.

What's the window you're trying to make transparent and what rule did you try?

Hi there,
Dexpot is a great software , I'm just having a problem with transparency. I am able to make windows transparent , but each time I close them , the transparency resets (goes back to 100%).

How can I make windows permanently transparent. ??

(P.s - I have played around with the rules but still no luck. I am running windows vista 64bit.)

Thanks in Advance !
