Problem was Rainmeter tiles showing up in desktops other than the first one. Here is the fix I came up with thanks to the board:

Looking for assistance setting up the Raindexer plug-in. I have downloaded and placed the Raindexer file, and I have set up Rainmeter the way I would like it to appear on all secondary desktops. I am running a 5 desktop setup on XP...

I am getting lost reading the Rainmeter information on groups, How does this apply to setting up Raindexer? I will have 4 desktops, 2-5, to set up with the plug-in...

To clarify, in XP, do I need to create an rmskins file in Rainmeter? I have created a theme of the setup...could I just point to that somehow in VDMConfig?
