Re: My desktop icons are disordered
Icon positions are stored in a couple of places that I know of. Which takes precedent of the other I have no Idea, but go into: c:\users\<user>\Appdata\Roaming\Dexpot folder. There is a <user>.dxi file which has Icon info in it and there should be profiles subdir, which will contain <profile>.dxp fi...

Re: My desktop icons are disordered
Hi guys, don't know if this will help you guys, but it works for me. I don't have dexpot start on startup BTW but sometimes windows will stuff up my icon positions (most the time it doesn't) and it will remain that way unless I fix them. In order to fix them I'll actually use dexpot by starting it u...

Re: Windows 10 and dexpot
Hi Guys, I had this same thing happening however, I'm not convinced this is a dexpot bug, but rather a problem with windows itself. Reason being is while these appear to be ghost programs, the programs themselves are also actually running in the background and start up by themselves again should you...

Extra actions in Settings->Controls ->Title bars ?
Hi guys, I've read this rather old post http://dexpot.de/forum/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=2017 about using the close windows - (all desktops) mouse title bar/button action as I have a similar issue. Essentially I don't see how the close on all desktops function is any different to a standard left clic...

Re: AHK and dexpot
This is an example of a script I use for Firefox hopefully it will help. Keep in mind however that things may work differently depending on how you have the windows set up in Dexpot. NB: In this example, I've got firefox set up in dexpot's "mywechsel.ini" in the [Exe] section as "fire...

Re: Getting excluded monitors via script ?
The original code I found in these forums somewhere (can't find the thread again) was: $handle = WinGetHandle("[TITLE:Dexpot - Main Menu; CLASS:ThunderRT6FormDC]") $ret = DllCall("user32.dll", "int", "SendMessage", "HWND", $handle, "UINT", ...

Re: Eliminate programs from Alt-Q list
Don't know if this is exactly what you are after but check out this post http://dexpot.de/forum/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=1915 . If you use the ignore parameter it will do as you request but it will also remove the window entry from other things - course if it's on all desktops anyway it probably doe...

Getting excluded monitors via script ?
Firstly thanks for this program, it's an amazing piece of software. I was wondering if there is a way to determine if a monitor is excluded or not via a script ? Reason for asking this, is I've made a script (in Lua) which minimises/maximises all windows on the desktop which currently has the mouse ...
