Re: Windows 7 Themes + Dexpot
TELL MICROSOFT!!!!! LOL....Indeed Understand folks, that although MS has given us a great OS in Windows 7, they also made it that much harder (or more so) to to work with the OS. There are programmers, working in conjunction with Dexpot, that are working to bring such capabilities to Dexpot, but on...

Re: Refresh Option & Save to Current Option
After some considerable work I have nailed things down a bit. I hate to sound incredibly selfish in the following, but it is going to happen. The biggest bug that I have, and it is not a bug, is that when I refresh Rainmeter, any skin assigned to any other VD appears on the Active VD. I also have an...

Merry Christmas | happy Solstice
Greetings folks. For many of us this is a time of good cheer and happy togetherness, for others it is a time of reflection and contemplation, and for others it is other things. This time of year is so many things to so many people, even those that do not celebrate the recognized holiday, this is sti...

Refresh Option & Save to Current Option
Greetings folks. As I continue my work with the Dexpot/Rainmeter plugins/addons, I find that there are times when various objects are not placed, until after I restart Dexpot. Additionally; I find that from time to time that Rainmeter skins are moved to the current screen for no apparent reason. In ...

Re: Rainmeter and Circle Dock Proposal
My apologies for a lack of movement here. I will be kicking it in the rear end after the first of the year, as I will apparently have some down time.
If at all possible can we get the new functionality of adding and subtracting Desktops add to the plugin ???
Just an update of where we are

Discussion of a Dexpot 64bit in the future ???
Hello folks
I am curious about the future of Dexpot in regards to if there are any plans to distribute a 64 bit version?
If not; what issues are being faced in doing so?

Re: SDK Question: Updating SevenDex and DEX_SWITCHREQUEST
An additional thought here would be to have a VD switch trigger a Background Image Change. This way, any time you switch to VD screen "X" the image will not be the same twice when you land on VD screen "X" I would only suggest this as an " Option " as this particular el...

There is a great and easy to use free version, and I have had no issues using it to capture Dexpot and Rainmeter (among other things) from my desktop

Give it a try

Re: Rocketdock, objectdock and winstep nexus dock integratio
Thoughts: There is an off the wall solution using Rainmeter and placing a handmade launcher in each area. This will not have the abilities of many common launchers, but each one could be placed as needed in each VD. You mean you'd need a new Dock program to be written that is RainMeter-aware but no...

Re: Dexpot on the internet
I would make a running list and explanation and have that in the Youtube page description. Greater details can be worked out later or asked when necessary. The speed of the video is irrelevant as the video can be stopped and viewed by frame. It never hurt to watch a video a few times, and I have pos...

Re: Rocketdock, objectdock and winstep nexus dock integratio
I must agree, as these individual dock creators know their Software capabilities. I shoulder to think what would happen if controlled on the Dexpot end, although I would think possible, this may create for some re-draw slow down and systems bloat. My thoughts would be that something could be worked ...
