Re: Circle Dock integration

Take heart then friend. Circle Dock is supported via the Donationcoder.com forums, but is an independent program. Circle Dock was originally entered as a Donationcoder NANY project, by Eric Wong (VideoInPicture), and is now maintained by myself and Markham (as the primary programmer). Beyond my supp...

Re: Dexpot 360 with mouse wheel support.

Interesting

Sounds like 360 Desktop, with out all the additional bloated extras
http://www.360desktop.com
I used to like 360 Desktop, but it has become a bloated VDM that is way out of control and badly supported.
Not to mention a ton of bugs :|

Re: Flicker with custom desktop backgrounds

Damn...well that rules out what I experience. I sometimes experience something similar, but only in extreme cases of High System Resource use by other programs (ie. Multiple open programs, or Photoshop). Virtual Desktop switching will hesitate a little longer than assigned, then I get a quick view o...

Sounds good, and should keep the traffic resource down to your servers so you do not get some ID10T Operator Error who sets an update every 1 to 5 minutes

Re: Rainmeter and Circle Dock Proposal

I wanted to set things up in a way that any skin created to interface with a VDM would work with any VDM, so that in the future if another VDM comes along that wants to support Rainmeter there is already a standard way of doing it. Meaning if someone created a skin now to control Dexpot, then Virtu...

Re: Rainmeter and Circle Dock Proposal

One small point: When a skin is visible on multiple desktops, it will always be at the same position. This makes completely different layouts using the same skins difficult. Is this an acceptable limitation? It seems that with "!RainmeterMove" we could realize different skin positions on ...

Re: Great update....Facebooks Post???

I will take Nicks solution request and one up.

I am a person that believes in options.
Is it possible to create a settings area that address this issue.
Where the End User can define a specified time(s) and Date(s) for Dexpot to check for updates???

Re: Hotkey - Mouse Buttons

As far as I know you are correct in the slight differences in Coding between Keyboard and Mouse. I meant no offense....I was just offering what may be an interim solution. As for the Setpoint treating you badly...that is sad to hear, as I have had no issues. The latest setpoint can be customized per...

Re: Rainmeter and Circle Dock Proposal

Then we also could easily adapt the plugin so that it would work with Virtuawin (the only other extensible VDM I'm aware of) as well. Now this is something that is inline with the Rainmeter philosophy. Plugins are always good. This way they can be used elective-ly by end users and limit resource us...

Re: Rainmeter and Circle Dock Proposal

We can check AppData and the Rainmeter program folder (or any path relative to it). Could the .ini be located anywhere else? As the end user of Rainmeter can install to literally Anywhere....This has brought up the suggestion of allowing the end user to define paths, to Dexpot, as needed. Instead o...
