Switching desktops using keyboard special keys

Hi,

I have a keyboard with special keys that I would like to use to switch between desktops by assigning a different desktop to each key. However there appears to be no external way, through the keyboard settings application used to assign actions to special keys, to invoke desktop change in Dexpot (through the commandline say), and nor does there appear to be any way of specifying special keys, other than Control/Alt/Window, in Dexpot settings. It would seem that use of these spare keys is not possible with Dexpot?
