Feature Request: Switch Desktop Via Rules

Postby D00M1N8R » 15.09.2016 15:44:54

I've been using Dexpot for almost three years now, and recently, I've been running into a small snag, when running Dexpot on a remote computer. This means that, if the connection between the local device and the remote device is interrupted, the remote computer will remain on whatever desktop it was on at the time. While the problem can be fixed using external programs, it might be nice if Dexpot's window rules could include an option to switch from one desktop to another (with or without dragging the current window along).

When my Teamviewer connection closes, teamviewer pops up a window that goes 'this was a sponsored session', or something along those lines. Dexpot can detect those, meaning I've got something to trigger the switch on, IF the rules were to have an option for that. (it should probably be 'move and switch', rather than just a switch, to avoid issues).

you may go for 'Window title contains > sponsored session or similar' and action 'Run > "C:\Program files (x86)\Dexpot\dexpot.exe" -w: 2' or 'Move > Desktop 1 > Follow after Move'.
