Hello,
version 1.5.99 build 1737 is mixing up desktop icon's names transparency. I have W7 64bit with Windows Classic scheme (no Aero). This problem remains even after exiting Dexpot and one has to switch the windows theme to another one and back to restore the transparency.
Or another way how to resolve it while Dexpot is running: Configure Desktops/Tools, change any checkbox twice (so there is no real change) and click OK. BTW on my rig the checkbox "Transparent icon names" is OFF and disabled - why?
Thanks
Tomas

That means what exactly?
BTW on my rig the checkbox "Transparent icon names" is OFF and disabled - why?
It's a legacy feature only available on Windows XP.
Re: Transparent Icon Names issue
Sorry - it means that transparency is off. At least as soon as you move the mouse over any desktop icon. Desktop icon's names got solid backgroud color. You can restore transparency by steps I described in my first post.

Re: Transparent Icon Names issue
I did some experiments and it seems that transparency works but in some strange way. I'm using Windows Classic theme with custom desktop picture saved as "My XP Theme". As soon as I start Dexpot the backgroud color of desktop icon names changes to the color of desktop backround color from the original Windows Classic theme. For example - original theme has light blue desktop, my picture is red -> icon names have light blue background. I can correct this by switching to Classic theme and back to "My XP Theme".
Thank you
